New achievements

 

With the academic year 2010/2011 we can emphasize the reception of the following structures:

-  8000 teaching places at the Chetma pole, seat of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Law and Political Science

-  A research center at the Central University (12 premises for research labs).

-  A university restaurant (2400 meals / day) within the central university

-  A health center

Renovation and development of old buildings

Renovation work and development of old buildings were carried out within the central university and affected in particular:

• Part of the old architectural studios have been refurbished and converted into a modern video-conference room

• The other part has been converted into an audio-visual center

• Renovation of six old amphis.

• Transformation of the old library into 5 large rooms with a capacity of 120 seats each

• Renewable Energy Laboratory

• Technology Hall

Equipment:

With regard to the acquisition of scientific and educational material, the following operations can be mentioned:

• Equipping  the Computer Center with powerful hardware.

• Equipping  the audio-visual center and the videoconferencing room

• The final acquisition of the scanning electron microscope (SEM).

• Equipping the educational laboratories: biology, industrial chemistry, mechanics, civil engineering and architectural workshops
